Integration of SDS with Labels will increase productivity
Plymouth, Michigan, Paola Kansas, September 9, 2021 – Two industry leaders come together to provide a unified solution that will increase productivity and accuracy for chemical, petroleum and environmental industries customers—Quantum Compliance, by providing GHS-compliant SDS (Safety Data Sheets) authoring software, and Reliance Labeling Solutions, by providing labeling software for chemical packaging.
What makes this partnership so robust is that each has years of experience in the market, and they are aware of the practical implementation details both of generating accurate SDS and creating compliant labels at scale, while addressing the variables in re-packaging.
Now in one seamless process, customers can generate SDS and immediately begin labeling. By integrating the specialty software of each firm efficiencies are gained. Here’s how it comes together.
Quantum makes implementing SDS authoring streamlined by providing a two-hour onboarding process to bring its Q-SDS software online, and then on-going customer service support. In turn, Reliance has dedicated customer representatives that work with its clients to set up its Vision® GHS Label Printing Software, now integrated with Q-SDS, and then manage label inventory so that labels are available Just-in-time. The combination of these two functions into one process improves accuracy and speed time to delivery for its customers.
Quantum has now included this interface to Reliance Labeling Solutions’ Vision product as a standard option in its Q-SDS product. With this interface, customers can use Quantum’s Q-SDS software to author compliant SDS for any country and deploy the Vision product to create professional GHS compliant product labels.

Quantum has also incorporated Reliance Label Solutions’ products into its Q-Manifest product supporting the following waste labels from Reliance:
